ELong Inc (NASDAQ: LONG), a major online travel service provider in China, has entered into a cooperative deal with GreenTree Inns, a Chinese economy hotel chain, to offer an 8% discount on the latter's room rates. ELong captured a 10.3% market share in the third quarter of 2009, second to Ctrip.com International's (NASDAQ: CTRP) sweeping 55.7%

Dubai World, the de facto sovereign fund for the desert nation, has essentially defaulted on a large portion of its debt. It has asked creditors for a “standstill” on paying back its $60 billion debt until May or perhaps later.
Ce qui est spéciale dans tout ça c'est que ceux qui ont passé du fric devront

Salut Gerry, J'ai trouvé un stock interessant qui peut peut-etre devenir big. C'est Sensio technologies (code: SIO sur le tsx venture). ILs se specialisent dans le 3d. Pour l'instant ils n'ont pas de revenues mais ils viennent de décrocher un patent de 20 ans aux USA. Le globe and mail comparent la nouvelle technology au passage de la cassette aux dvd...

La Chinoise BAIDU
Google's share in the Chinese search market has dipped to 19.8%, while Baidu Inc (NASDAQ: BIDU) controls 69.9% of its home market, says China IntelliConsulting Corp (CIC) based on a survey of 4,990 subjects across 20 major cities.
It is the first time a consultancy reports Google's share fell below 20% in China.
In the four richest mainland cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Baidu captured an average 64.5% share compared to Google's 25.4%.

More than 40% of the Chinese consumers plan to increase spending in 2010, and an improved social welfare system is the strongest driver to prompt them to consume more, a MasterCard report has found.
Interestingly, 41% of urban respondents versus 59% of rural counterparts were planning to spend more in 2010; 18% of urban residents and 16% of rural dwellers would cut consumption, while 41% of urban residents and 25% of rural dwellers would keep their expenses unchanged.

Telegent Systems, Inc. has just become the latest company to file to come public via an Initial Public Offering. No terms were listed, but the initial prospectus filing is for up to $250 million in common stock. Telegent will list on the NYSE under the stock ticker “TLG.”

aurait une "takeover offer" à 90.00$ pour tout le bloc d'actions.
Colgate has a $42 billion market cap. The company had $4 billion in revenue last quarter and $926 million in operating income. Colgate’s long-term debt is a modest $2.9 billion.
L'action est à 84.50$ aujourd'hui et si la rumeur du 90$ est vrai ça pousse la valeur
de CL à ±45 milliards. WOW!
